What would you do?
Two flights of stairs, two pallets, and no elevator.
We find the receiver not exactly where we thought they would be located. Lady at the front desk acknowledges that she is expecting the load. Asks for the paperwork so she can sign and then says put the freight over there and points to a corner of the room. Next, we ask “Where is the freight elevator?” and the reply “there is not one”. Great just what we wanted to hear.
So now what?
Two pallets of boxes are carried one at a time up the stairs and we get our workout for the day. Left with shaky legs and looking for a shower. We just never know in expediting what to expect next.
