CDL A Local Fuel Transport Driver in Nashville, TN

Pilot Flying J is hiring a CDL A Local Fuel Transport Driver in Nashville, TN to transport fuel products (gas, diesel, DEF, bio-diesel and renewable diesel) locally to our facilities throughout the greater Nashville area. Drivers will start on the night shift, be home daily, enjoy exceptional benefits and career growth opportunities.

Compensation

• Annual Pay: $98,000
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked
  • Annual pay based on 57.5-hour work week
• Bonuses:
  • Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000, paid in 1 payment at 90 days
• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily, no overnights
• Schedule:  5 days on, 2 consecutive days off, specific days will vary
• Drivers will start on night shift
  • 55-60 hours per week
• Route: Local routes around Nashville area
• Level of Touch: Load and unload
• Slip seating

• Newer model fleet (average age of two years)
• 2019-2022 Model trucks - Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have a valid CDL A license
• Hazmat, Tanker, TWIC endorsements required prior to employment
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer within the last 3 years
• Can not have automatic restriction
• DUI/DWI: None within the last seven years. No DUI/DWIs in a commercial vehicle
• No citations/violations for Driving While Suspended, Disqualified, or Expired in the last six months
• Applicant must have no more than three moving violations in the last three years. No serious traffic violations* in the last two years.
• Criminal background check required
• Must be able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen including hair follicle testing and road test
• Driver must live within 45 miles of Nasvhille, TN
